The Florida District Purchasing office is accepting resumes to fill a Purchasing Agent position.

  Primary Responsibilities;

  -Evaluate daily purchasing reports, prioritize purchase orders by critical needs; ensure orders meet the optimal levels to maximize profit and sales.

-Communicate with branch/district management regarding purchasing and inventory decisions impacting their business.

-Build and maintain sustainable business partnerships with vendors.

-Monitor and expedite the transfer of non-moving products to locations with higher cycle turns.

-Maintain product line and purchasing parameters to ensure daily purchasing reports are accurate.

-Initiate and verify price changes in POS system.

-Generate inventory performance reports for under performing product lines, and initiate resolution plan of action.

-Assist Accounts Payable with resolving price discrepancies.

-Monitor open purchase orders and maintain projected delivery dates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.

-3-5 years purchasing and inventory control experience.

-Ability to analyze and make decisions.

-Strong communication skills, exceptional organizational and follow-up skills, and the ability to prioritize.

-Must be self-motivated.

-Strong Excel knowledge.  Access +

-Knowledge of automated purchasing and inventory management system.  Eclipse preferred.

Junior Buyer needed for Orlando Production company. Buying experience preferred. At least two year of college preferred. Computer skills required: Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar programs. Will be meeting with vendors, filling out purchase orders, confirming receipt of orders, and communicating with accounting regarding invoice discrepancy. Costing of new products, and working with the costing team to cost out new designs. Benefits available including Health and Dental insurance. Salary is dependant on experience.
